TEDxUTSC 2019: Resonance
By TEDxUTSC Follow | Public

Overview
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUTSC, where x= independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUTSC event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxUTSC is back once again for our 6th annual conference taking place February 2nd, 2019. What do we have in store for you as a delegate? A full-day filled with 11 amazing 18 minute TEDx talks by an incredibly diverse speaker lineup, breakfast and catered lunch, and conversation breaks to give you the chance to network with our speakers and other delegates while enjoying snacks. Most importantly our speakers have been preparing their talks for over 5 months to inspire you.

Resonance:
TED serves as a forum for ideas worth spreading. Sometimes, there is an idea that keeps coming back to you. We at TEDxUTSC are dedicated to sharing messages that resonate with you; messages that become a part of you.

TEDxUTSC presents to you our 2019 theme: RESONANCE! Messages that will move you. Messages that will excite you.
